Obviously, this isn't going to replace your Kinoflos anytime soon, but it is a good tool to have in your pocket when you need just a little touch of light.
I recently had to grab a cutaway shot for a fight scene and ended up bouncing a headlight off a jacket to get an exposable image. This app would have been perfect for such a run & gun shot.
It's also handy when you just want to liven up a shot with a little touch of color. I recently put it on a table with hot pink dialed in just so the glasses would pick up a hint of neon.
There are probably hundreds of situations this app would be useful as a very fine brush.
I wish it had more presets and a flicker mode to make firelight, TV light, etc.
